Casual Roleplay
Rules; don‘t quest without them!
Overview
Casual Roleplay includes any genre and setting including Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Modern, etc. Casual RP is essentially a lightly moderated roleplay setting with basic standards.
Casual RP Standards
If you can't follow these standards, your thread/posts will be moved to the Beginners RP forum. If you constantly break these standards, you will be only allowed to post in the Beginners RP forum.
- You should be familiar with roleplaying and how it is done. Practice in the Beginners RP forum until you are ready.
- You must be coherent and display good English skills. This includes good spelling.
- NO one-liners. You can't develop a character or plot by posting single sentences.
- Post at least a full paragraph. Did you react to the other characters in the scene? Did you act out and flesh out your character at all?
- In-Character (IC) posts only. The only Out-Of-Character (OOC) allowed is a sentence or two during one of your roleplay posts in a thread. No post can contain only OOC.
- Contain OOC chatter in the OOC subforum. Make a thread in the Casual OOC subforum for your RP thread. You are allowed to chat all you want in the OOC subforum. Be sure to link your OOC and RP threads to eachother in the first post. Making an OOC thread in the subforum allows you to discuss OOC things like if you're going to be absent, if you have any questions, etc.
Rules
- No advertising. This includes advertising threads of yours. There is zero tolerance for the advertising of other websites. You will be banned.
- No double posting. There is no reason to double post. Rather than posting twice in a row, edit your first post. The only exception is when you exceed character limit.
- No posting in dead threads. If a thread has been inactive for over a month, there is no reason to post there. If you find an old thread you would like to join, PM the thread starter and ask.
- Stay on topic. This area is for Casual ROLEPLAYING only.
- Use common sense. If you thread doesn’t seem to have a plot or you don’t seem ready for the Casual section, your thread will be moved to the beginner’s area or possibly deleted.
Enjoy.
If you can handle these simple rules, you’re free to post. Have fun!
